It's A Small World Afterall!

I have been watching the Olympic Track and Field events for the past few days and kept recognizing this one runner. I knew I had not see this man around Dallas nor had we gone to high school or college together. Honestly, I was at a loss and was starting to think I was crazy... until tonight that is! As I was watching Wallace Spearmon run it dawned on me: we were in the same 5th and 6th grade class in Fayetteville, Arkansas! I quickly Wikipediaed and Facebooked Wallace and indeed I was right! Twelve years ago who knew I would be sitting next to an Olympian?! As I write this I am sad to say that Wallace has been disqualified since his left foot stepped on the line during the 200m line, sad! He will always been the bronze medalist in my opinion! Go Team USA and go Mr. Spearmon!!

Wow. Talk about your six degrees of separation! Why, you're almost famous! I can't believe you recognized him. What a great memory!
