The Club and more

This evening C and I kicked off Dallas restaurant week at The Club. Neither of us had ever been, but it has been on our restaurant list so there was not a better time to try it. I started with the wedge salad which was followed by two beef medallions, organic veggies and potatoes. Finally, my meal was topped off with a fudge, melt-in-your-mouth brownie and vanilla gelato. The meal was absolutely divine and the service was impeccable- some of the best I have come across in Dallas. I asked our server how he ended up there. After twenty one years he along with fourteen other employees left the Mansion last summer and are now working at The Club. They know how to treat their clients and work the table. the atmosphere was very English and perfect for a business meeting. In fact, The Club mirrored one of my all time favorite restaurants- RL in Chicago- with it's service, menu and atmosphere. The Club is only about four minutes from our apartment so we will for sure be returning. If you live in the Dallas area this hideaway is worth a visit!

I just purchased a darling water bottle koozie (very similar to that shown above) from Lilly Embroidery on Etsy. I always carry bottled water in my purchase, however I am not a fan of how the bottle sweat so for $10 this was the perfect solution. I ordered my koozie in the pink (as shown), but Lilly Embroidery allows you to pink your ribbon, monogram font and you can even add a design. I choose the Apple Green Pink Dot grosgrain and the monogram script font in a matching green; too cute! Etsy just really does have it all! What are some of your favorite items on the site?
