I just noticed I forgot to include details about the amazing woman sitting next to me on my flight yesterday. So I get on the plane and am in the second person in my class to board so I am not quite sure how seatmate got on, but whatever. I am walking to my seat and notice a larger lady sitting there. Of course I double check my ticket thinking I am wrong, however I was not so I get to my row and kindly say 'Ms. I think you are in my seat.' Seatmate looks at me as if I am the rudest person on the planet and then starts reading again. I repeat what I had originally said and finally seatmate gets up to look at the seat numbers and letters. I thought she would move to the row in front since often people just sit down in the row, but with my luck she did not. After about another minute of seatmate looking at the numbers (she did not even get out her ticket to check...) she replies 'Fine, I guess you can sit there then, uh!' It was as if I was making her life difficult when she was the one who 'stole' my seat. This is why I get to the airport three hours before my international flight departs and request a window seat! Anyway, I then sit down so that everyone else can get to there seat, but have to eventually get up to put something in the overhead bin. So instead of standing up to let me out, what does seatmate so? She sits there and continues to read her book as I try to get by without disturbing her. I felt bad at this point because I thought that maybe seatmate did not speak English, but the next thing I know she is gabbing away on her cell phone before take off! Then, as soon as the safety briefing is over and all electronics are to be turned off (I have my eye mask on at this point) I start to hear this intense, hard rap type music. My first thought was there was another presentation on the monitors, but when I take my eye mask off who is listening to their iPod (IE an electronic) on the loudest setting: seatmate of course! Some people are just so difficult to understand! However, after this rant I want to let you all know seatmate was extremely well behaved for the rest of the flight and I did not hear a peep from her until we landed at Heathrow and she turned on her cell again. Life is always interesting to say the least!

Oh goodness. I always seem to be stuck with the screaming child whose mother is too into her vodka and Vogue, and whose father is too into his DVD. Thankfully, I like kids ;) Can't wait to hear all about your adventures in England! As much as I love Hello!, my trashy guilty pleasure is the British OK! - we find it here easily in NYC, which is fantastic :)
Hello friend! You've been TAGGED! It is SO fabulous to be you! Go to my blog and follow the directions!
