I just called to wished father a Happy Father's Day and was given a pram update. I did not have the Kensington Silver Cross pram, but the Silver Stream. I just looked the Silver Stream model up online and it looks like I need to raise the husband bar yet again. The Silver Stream is now only made by special order and for the royal family and comes with a $5,800 price tag (please note this does not include shipping, but with this price tag I expect it to be brought over on the QE2). Happy Father's Day and thank you father for always and only giving me the BEST!

I love prams, but for $5,800 it might not ever happen! My future kids might have to settle for a bugaboo.

My mom had a pram for all four of us and she bought me one when my son was born. It was the Inglesina Pram - it has the classic old fashion look - but not the heavy price tag. It runs around $750.
There is nothing like strolling your baby in the pram.

My mother still has the pram she used for us. All of her friends made fun of her because it was so expensive - then they all bought one! I want a red one for my kids.
Uh I cannot believe how much the price has gone up! My mother said when she bought the pram 23 years ago it cost less then the doll pram costs today! I am going to have to look into the Balmoral and Kensignton models which sell for about half as well as Inglesina. Nothing beats afternoon walks in smocked clothing and a pram!
