Just returned from church and am so sorry for the lack of posts, but I am sure you will all forgive me seeing as I have been busy at work and getting ready for my five weeks away. After spending a few hours packing last night I am finally ready to take off. It was lucky I had made a list of everything I needed a few weeks back as I was busy as could be with work this past week. Packing actually went very quickly and this time I actually think I will wear everything I am bringing. Mother, you will be happy to know I did not over pack and in fact have even removed items from my suitcase!

On top of work, packing and cleaning yesterday I also was able to squeeze in my mani/pedi with Taffi. Rest assured that my nails will look fabulous for the next few days! I ordered La Duni for dinner last night as I figured I would not be having Latin food for a while. However, I then looked up the restaurants in Terminal D of DFW and saw they have a Catina Loredo. Since I do not like to eat airline food (and I plan to be fast asleep when they serve dinner) I am going to have a late lunch/early dinner there this afternoon. My flight leaves at 5:30pm, but E and I are leaving at 2pm for the airport. This time of year international flights are always packed and there are also fewer direct flights from DFW to Heathrow so early is good. This is will also allow me to have my last 'American' meal for a while and I can also finish up any emails and phone calls before take off.

My bags are packed and I'm ready to go. Bon Voyage to all my faithful readers! I will be updating at least every other day so keep in touch!!
