I am finally able to get on a bit earlier tonight, hooray! I have gotten so many lovely comments today, thank you! As I said before you all make my day whenever I check my email and have a new comment. As all of you know it is so nice to know people actually read what you write...no matter how many spelling an grammar errors it may have. Speaking of errors one of my half year goals is to minimize these, so please hang in there while I find the time to!
On to my day. While I absolutely adore England, I am going to admit that I was as cold as can be all day, actually to be honest I was freezing. It was overcast most of the day which of course just makes it colder. However as dreary as the weather was we of course managed to have a great day (and feel terrific- I hope all you Greystoner's enjoy the Breakfast Club reference). I was up and at it a bit earlier then the past few days as I had a luncheon to prepare for. We set up outside, however with the partial sun and constant wind it ended up being a bit too chilly so we ended up moving elsewhere. The lunch, prepared by E, was fabulous. The tomato and basil soup quickly warmed us up and the salad Nicoise was perfect for an afternoon meal. We were also treated to homemade raspberry and lemon sorbet at the end of the meal; yummy! After the guests departed M and I headed to the grocery. We adore this shredded cheese they have here and tomorrow evening we are going to recreate the nachos we made last summer. We exercised when we returned home and also enjoyed an episode of Britain's My Super Sweet Sixteen (it is so much more intense than the American version). Tonight, we enjoyed yet another amazing dinner and now we are preparing for out big day in town tomorrow! I will update and add photos tomorrow evening, they should be marvelous so get excited. Have a wonderful weekend all!
PS: Happy Mommy I would love your blog address or an invite! My email is kappaprep@gmail.com I cannot wait to get reading and am SO happy to have another Dallas blogging friend!
PPS: I thought I would add this link for anyone who is looking for a deal on the Chunnel. Tickets can be so expensive, but this site/agent is super helpful and they have AMAZING deals. Their fares are at least half the price of what you pay anywhere else online or at the station. E and I are looking into tickets for July 8th and they still have some round trips available for $112!! It really pays off to research, what a steal!
